Microdermabrasion is a technique of superficial skin resurfacing which improves many defects. Fine lines and wrinkles, discolorations, age spots, acne, and large pores all are targeted by the exfoliatiion accomplished by repeated microdermabrasion treatments. Microdermabrasion is usually initiated in a series of 6 to 8 treatments spaced at 2 week intervals, and then followed by one treatment every 3 months.

Microdermabrasion is typically painless, and you may return to your daily activities immediately. Your skin may appear windburned and feel tight. Superficial peeling is accomplished with the revolutionary DiamondTome resurfacing system.

Unlike older microdermabrasion systems which use a stream of crystals blown over the skin to sandblast the surface, the DiamondTome uses a selection of wands coated with diamond grit and a special vacuum to remove the dead superficial layers of skin.

The DiamondTome allows for precise judgment of the peel depth to give you the best possible results. The lack of loose crystals makes the DiamondTome preferable for use before laser procedures.
